Chester Engineers Names Roland Lazzaro as Chief Strategic Officer

PITTSBURGH (March 31, 2008) – Robert O. Agbede, President and CEO of Chester Engineers, is pleased to announce the appointment of Roland Lazzaro to the position of Chief Strategic Officer.  His responsibilities will include driving global strategic growth initiatives, strategic development and M&A, and leadership of all internal and external organizational development initiatives, communications, and information technology applications.

"As Chief Strategic Officer, Roland will play a key role in ensuring that both our short and long-term goals are realized," said Mr. Agbede.  "This will involve working closely across all of our business units to define specific plans, deliverables, and objectives to drive both top-line and bottom-line results.  Roland has a track record of high performance having previously worked for me for 5 years in senior management roles, including Chief Operating Officer, and he led the successful integration of Chester Engineers after our acquisition in 2003."

Prior to returning to Chester Engineers, Roland served as President of Drummond American, a national provider of specialty chemicals solutions and other products in the Maintenance, Repair, and Other (MRO) market.  He has over 25 years of leadership experience in the execution of strategic growth initiatives across both public and private vertical markets.  Roland has an industrial engineering degree from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie-Mellon University.
