Position Requirements
Major Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Lead and mentor a staff of project engineers, engineers in areas such as
planning and preliminary design and detail design of water resources projects for industrial/municipal clients.
- Provide engineering and project management services, as well as hands-on technical support.
- Responsibilities include marketing support, preparation of proposals, and
the management of individual engineering projects.
- Responsible for the planning, design, and design oversight of Water and Wastewater systems.
- Duties may include writing master plans and specifications and determining appropriate design methods.
- Will manage projects and be responsible for supervising and mentoring junior staff.
- Responsible for project budgets and schedules.
Minimum Required Experience:
- 10 + years direct engineering management experience.
- 10 + years of experience in the planning, design, construction, and
project management of a variety of engineering projects concentrated in Water Resources, Storm Water, Sewer Design and Wastewater Treatment.
Special Qualifications/Specific Skills:
- The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of and experience working with federal, state, and local government agencies.
- Client management skills are essential in this role.
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related Engineering field, advanced degrees preferred.
Required Registrations/Certifications/Clearances
Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Pennsylvania.
