Commitment to Giving Back

Outreach

For Chester Engineers, serving communities means more than offering innovative solutions that allow for the creation of infrastructure, roads and buildings. We also believe in the importance of creating a lasting educational, social and economic foundation for those we serve. That’s why Chester Engineers invests in the communities where we operate through a variety of activities that bring our social conscience to life and touch the lives of others in many meaningful ways.

Education

Chester is committed to developing young engineering talent by supporting deserving students. With fellowships and scholarships totaling more than $2.5 million, along with support for other programs, we help make the dream of a career in engineering, business and other areas of study a reality for many students who might otherwise not be able to afford a quality education.  Chester’s scholarships and fellowships, offered through prominent universities and colleges, supports students in their pursuit of careers in engineering and science related fields.

Social Responsibility

Chester Engineers employees volunteer their resources to participate in various activities in the local communities where they work and live.

Our Ann Arbor office participates in the City of Chelsea Earth Day by setting up an interactive water conservation booth which demonstrates to children how to save water by using proper hand washing techniques.

Our Charleroi office sponsors boys’ and girls’ basketball teams in the Mon Valley by providing uniforms for them.

Our Moon Township office employees take part in the ALCOSAN annual open-house activities by conducting water-focused demonstrations or performing as tour guides through the sanitation plant for the public.
