PITTSBURGH’S CHESTER ENGINEERS ACQUIRES BUSINESS UNITS

PITTSBURGH, PA, December 20, 2008—- Robert O. Agbede, President & CEO of Pittsburgh-based Chester Engineers, announced the acquisition of several business units, including Maryland-based VIEW Engineering, the Industrial Consulting and Compliance and the Groundwater/Geosciences Divisions, from N.A. Water Systems, a part of Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies.  With these recent acquisitions, the nearly 100-year-old company maintains market positioning and strategic growth as a leading global provider of water and wastewater and environmental solutions.
