 Construction Inspection
Chester was contracted to oversee the delivery and placement of concrete for the construction of the new headquarters for Alcoa. Scope of Work Chester conducted concrete testing, which included making cylinders for compression testing, checking the slump at the pump and at the placement locations. Temperatures were taken of the concrete mix and of the ambient air. Chester reported the truck identification numbers, temperatures of the loads and mixture and the times of the mix delivery and placement. Chester also obtained samples of the compacted fills in order to perform Moisture-Density Tests, monitored the soil compaction, and prepared the compaction test reports. Key Project Features
