Chester Engineers was retained to provide chemical-consulting services to a private firm that recycles spent aircraft anti-de-icing fluids collected from areas across the United States and Europe. This assistance has aided in the design of a new plant and necessitated modifications of existing facilities at their 3 major recycling plants in the United States.


Scope Of Work
Chester Engineers provided consultation, chemical analysis, method development and laboratory testing on an ongoing and on an as-needed basis.

Unique Project Task
Chester Engineers developed a field test to assure that water-based solutions of the raw feed material were of sufficiently high concentration to make processing cost efficient and, conversely, to determine that the highly diluted solutions captured as rainwater runoff had acceptable concentration levels to justify their discharge as wastewater.
