Risk Management Plan

Client: Glenshaw Glass Company (GGCo)
Location:Glenshaw, Pennsylvania


Scope of Work
The Glenshaw Glass Co. facility currently stores propane in two 30,000-gallon tanks. The storage capacity allows GGCo the ability to switch to propane in the event that natural gas supply is interrupted. The capacity of the tanks triggered the requirement for the development of the RMP. Chester Engineers performed a review of all applicable standard operating procedures, training programs and accident records. Each program was evaluated to insure compliance with the following RMP regulations.

  • 40 CFR 68 Subpart B-Hazard Assessment (includes offsite consequence analysis parameters)
  • 40 CFR 68 Subpart C-Program 2 Prevention Program
  • 40 CFR 68 Subpart E-Emergency Response Program
