Chester Engineers developed and implemented a GIS-based sewer system rehabilitation project management tool using information contained in a legacy GIS system developed by others. The software developed by Chester Engineers utilizes a relational database to manage disparate data related to rehabilitation work, including manhole inspections, televised sewer line inspections, and flow data. This relational database is integrated into the GIS to facilitate mapping of the extent and severity of system damage as well as wye locations and recommended remedial activities.
