 Miscellaneous Water And Wastewater Engineering Services
Chester Engineers has served as the General Consultant to the Monroeville Municipal Authority since 1985. As General Consultant, Chester assists the Authority with operational oversight of the water distribution, pumping and storage facilities; serves as Engineer of record for all outstanding bond issues and corresponding trust indentures; and, provides any/all engineering assistance on an as needed as requested basis. Chester routinely prepares the Authority's Annual Report in accordance with Trust Indenture requirements, assists in the development and analysis of annual operating budgets, performs routine inspections of facilities, and attends monthly Authority Board meetings. Chester Engineers has provided design engineering, bid phase services, construction management services and site inspection services to the Authority for water line extensions, water line replacement projects and tank painting and rehabilitation projects. Chester Engineers has assisted with the development and approval of water allocation permits and permit renewals, emergency response plans, and back flow prevention control programs. We have been instrumental in the development of GIS system for the Authority. Recently, Chester Engineers worked with the Authority to achieve the transfer ownership of the municipal sanitary sewer system from the Municipality to the Authority. This transfer was completed and Chester Engineers' role has expanded to include providing consulting services relative to the sewerage system. < Back |
