Water Distribution System Modeling

Client: Seven Fields Borough
Location:Butler County, Pennsylvania


Chester Engineers developed a computer model of the water distribution system that serves Seven Fields Borough. The computer model is based upon the USEPA's EPANET model. Information that describes the Seven Fields water system was coded into the model, the model input files were debugged, calibrated, and verified against flow and pressure data collected in the field. The model has the ability to simulate the performance of the Seven Fields system and provide data that describes operating performance under a broad range of conditions and system configurations.
